FAQs

When and Where?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, TN. Guests can begin arriving as early as 3:30 and should be seated by 4:00. We highly encourage guests to take an Uber/Lyft to the ceremony if possible, however, if you are driving there is ample street parking near the venue and a CJ’s parking lot down the street.

Heads Up: Traffic in the Nashville area can be very heavy in the afternoons, so if you will be coming from Nashville, Springfield, Clarksville, etc., make sure you build in ample time to get to Franklin by 4.

After the ceremony, guests will head to the pavilion for cocktails and appetizers, followed by a full dinner. Then, the dancing begins! The event will officially end by 10 PM. We hope you’ll stay and celebrate with us as long as you want/are able!

Is it Outside?

We hope so! May in Middle Tennessee can be unpredictable, but we are hoping for clear skies and sunshine. The ceremony will be held in the garden, and the reception will be under a covered pavilion. If it rains, we have a plan to keep everyone safe and dry. We promise we won’t make you sit through a wedding in the pouring rain!

CJ’s is a fully accessible venue with paved walkways, ramps, and handicap parking spots.

What about attire?

The “dress code” for the wedding and reception is semi-formal/cocktail. For the ladies, think jumpsuits or dresses (long or cocktail-length). The garden and patio area have paved walkways, but you may want to avoid excessively high or pointy heels in case the ground is soft. For the gents, think suits, sportcoat and slacks, or a button-down shirt and slacks. No jeans, please!

If you have any questions about attire, please let us know.

Is this a kid-friendly event?

Due to the size of our venue, we can only accommodate children of close family members, so book a sitter and enjoy a night of dancing and dining away from the kiddos! We truly appreciate your understanding.
